The NORCET (Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test) is conducted by AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) for the recruitment of Nursing Officers in AIIMS and other central government hospitals
AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) conducts the NORCET exam.
Candidates must have:
- A B.Sc. Nursing (Hons.) / B.Sc. Nursing / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing OR Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with two years of experience in a minimum 50-bed hospital.
- Registration as a nurse and midwife with the State Nursing Council or the Indian Nursing Council.
- General category: 18 to 30 years
- Age relaxations apply for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-Servicemen).
AIIMS usually conducts NORCET twice a year.
